[Men's Track & Field] Rio men roll to second straight title

    RIO GRANDE, Ohio - Second verse, same as the first.
    For the second consecutive season, the University of Rio Grande cruised to a triple-digit victory and the Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference men's track and field title during the league's annual championship meet, Saturday afternoon, at a rainy Stockmeister Track & Field Complex.
    The RedStorm tallied 271 points en route to the crown, well ahead of runner-up Point Park University's total of 115. Indiana University East was a distant third with 66 points.
    Freshman Nikola Andjelic (Split, Croatia) captured Most Valuable Performer honors after taking first place in the javelin throw (46.38m) and long jump (6.44m), finishing second in the 110-meter hurdles (15.42) and pole vault (3.95m) and placing third in high jump (1.80m) for 42 points.
