CHICAGO – Roosevelt cross country/track and field head coach Aaron King announced that the Roosevelt women's team has added Morgan Curry (Bloomington, Minn./Kennedy Senior H.S.) to the roster beginning in the 2016-17 season.

Curry specializes in distance running, and will compete on both the cross country and track and field teams.

At Kennedy, Curry was an all-conference runner, four-time varsity letter winner and three-time MVP of the cross country team.

According to King, Curry's fresh talent will be beneficial to the team as a whole as they begin to condition for the upcoming season.

"Creating competition between teammates is crucial for team success, and Morgan will push her teammates to do so," King said. "We are excited to see Morgan develop through our training and are expecting big things from her in the next four years of her college career."
