CHICAGO – Narrowly missing a "B" standard national qualifying time in the mile run by .38 of a second, senior Brian Corcoran (Chicago, Ill./Brother Rice) headlined the Saint Xavier University men's track team's outing at the Windy City Rumble hosted by University of Chicago this past Saturday in Chicago.  Corcoran turned in an amazing time of 4.22.38.  The "B" standard national qualifying time for the NAIA in the mile run is 4:22.00.  Another highlight from the Windy City Rumble for SXU was freshman Josh Wallick (Fisher, Ill./Fisher) setting a new school record in the men's weight throw with a distance of 11.41 meters.
