WINDCREST, TEXAS (Sept. 10, 2016) – The Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) women's cross-country team placed third out of seven teams in the 5k at the second annual Cross-Country OLLU Invite at the Windcrest Golf Course.

Trinity University came out on top, followed by Texas A&M University – Kingsville. Following the Saints were Austin College, Southwestern University, Schreiner University and Sul Ross State University.

Head Coach Stephen Sherman said, "I thought the meet went very well. Coach Terry Smith does a very good job with getting the course laid out, and I am proud of the way everything came together for a high-quality event. I also appreciate everything the Windcrest Golf Club and the City of Windcrest help us with. Our hope is to have the meet continually grow into one of the better meets around."
