[Women's Track & Field] RedStorm quartet vying for NAIA titles

    KANSAS CITY, Mo. – A quartet of student-athletes representing the University of Rio Grande will be among those taking part in the 36th annual Women's National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) Outdoor Track and Field National Championships, which get underway Thursday and continue through Saturday at Mickey Miller Blackwell Stadium in Gulf Shores, Ala.
    Sophomore Tyanna Petty (Somerset, OH) headlines the RedStorm's foursome in the heptathlon, while senior Carrie Coriell (Lucasville, OH) will participate in both the shot put and hammer throw and the duo of sophomore Katie Browning (Athens, OH) and junior Niki Worsham (Beavercreek, OH) participating in the pole vault and 5,000-meter race walk, respectively.
