[Women's Track & Field] Familiar faces shine again at Ball State

    MUNCIE, Ind. - Carrie Coriell and Tyanna Petty collected a trio of top 10 finishes, while Maddie Rigsby and Katie Roberts snared a pair of their own for the University of Rio Grande women's track & field team at the Ball State Challenge, which wrapped up a two-day run on Saturday at the Briner Sports Complex.
    Coriell, a senior from Lucasville, Ohio, finished in seventh place - while also reaching the "B" qualifying standard for the national championship - in the shot put with a heave of 13.07m. She also placed fifth in the discus throw with a toss of 40.96m and was eighth in the hammer throw with an effort of 46.59m.
    Petty, a sophomore from Somerset, Ohio, took seventh in the high jump (1.61m), eighth in the long jump (5.23m) and 10th in the 100-meter hurdles (15.57).
