[Track and Field] Track & Field: Indiana Tech Open Results

FORT WAYNE, Ind. - The Indiana University East track and field teams set three indoor school records when they traveled to the Indiana Institute of Technology April 9 to compete in the Indiana Tech Open.

Freshman Seth Reynolds (Eaton, Ohio/Eaton High School) established the men's triple jump record with a distance of 11.48 meters. This was the first time IU East has competed in the event on the men's side.

Junior Tyler Hoodlebrink (Hagerstown, Ind./Rose-Hulman) set the new shot put record at 13.67 meters.

On the women's side, sophomore Kristen Miller (Ottawa, Ohio/Ottawa-Glandorf High School) set a school record for triple jump with a score of 9.88 meters.

Both IU East teams finished behind Indiana Tech in the two-team event at the Turnstone Center.

The IU East track and field teams travel to Marion, Ind. April 15 and 16 to compete in the Indiana Little State Championships at Indiana Wesleyan University.
