Cherica Eckiwaudah has been honored as Haskell's 2016 American Indian College Fund Student of the Year by the College Fund.  She is a junior at Haskell and is majoring in Business Management.  Eckiwaudah is a member of the Delaware Nation in Anadarko, Oklahoma.  In addition to her excellent academic resume, she has served in several roles within the student body including Founder of Haskell's Gamma Delta Pi Sorority, Captain of the Women's Cross Country Team, Toys for Tots and numerous other community service efforts.
