[Track & Field] Seven represent Rio at NAIA Indoor Nationals

    RIO GRANDE, Ohio - Seven student-athletes representing the University of Rio Grande will be among those participating in the 2016 NAIA Men's and Women's Indoor Track & Field National Championships.
    The 51st annual men's and 36th annual women's events will take place March 3-5, at the David E. Walker Track at Gentry Field in Johnson City, Tenn.
    The championships begin Thursday with the women's pentathlon at 1 p.m. and the men's heptathlon at 1:30 p.m. Last year, the Indiana Tech men repeated as national champions and the Oklahoma Baptist women won its third-consecutive national championship.
    Rio Grande will have four men and three women competing in the championships, two of whom will be in action on the opening day of the event.
