Comments

SAN RAMON, Calif. - The Cal State San Marcos Department of Athletics had 26 student-athletes earn 2016 California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) All-Academic Awards, the conference announced Tuesday. "What a great way to start off the 2016-2017 academic year," said CSUSM Director of Athletics Jennifer Milo. "To have 26 of our fall student-athletes recognized for their hard work in the classroom is something I am very proud of." In order to qualify, student-athletes must be of sophomore academic standing or higher, hold at least a cumulative 3.3 GPA and must have competed in a conference-sponsored sport. The CSUSM women's soccer team each had nine selections, while the women's cross county team and men's soccer had six. The volleyball team had three winners and men's cross country had two.
