GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. -- Freshman Brendon Koch led Lawrence Technological (Mich.) University men's cross country team to an ninth place finish at the Calvin College invitational. 

The meet was held on the campus of Calvin College in Grand Rapids with a mix of 15 NAIA, NJCAA and NCAA Division III schools.  Koch's time of 27:28 placed him 49th place out of 166 runners.  Other top finishers for the Blue Devils were Malik Jordan (SO/Wayne, Mich.) (51st | 27:33), John Bowen II (FR/Williamston, Mich.) (65th | 28:01), Tanner Flint (JR/Corinth, NY) (69th | 28:10), Walker Child (FR/St. Clair, Mich.) (84th | 28:27), Paul Arnold (85th | 28:29th), and Jimmy Hoefler (90th | 28:44).
