Naperville, Ill. – Qualifying for the NAIA Women's Indoor Track & Field National Championships for the first time in her collegiate career, sophomore Nicole Watkins (Bartlett, Ill./Bartlett) finished in second place in the 1000 meter run with a provisional qualifying time of 3:03.97 to highlight the Saint Xavier University women's track team's outing at the Chicagoland Intercollegiate Championships hosted by North Central College this past weekend in Naperville, Ill.  The time was a personal-best time for Watkins in the event.  She becomes the first national qualifier for the Cougars this season with her impressive performance Friday evening.
