Geneva, Ohio – A personal-best time of 18:54.27 in the 5K (5,000 meters) by senior Ali Proffitt (Lyons, Ill./College of DuPage/Morton) was the big highlight from the weekend for the Saint Xavier University women's track team at the Midwest Indoor Track & Field Open at the Spire Institute in Geneva, Ohio.  The Cougars brought a small group of runners to compete at the meet instead of their entire squad.  Sophomore Nicole Watkins (Bartlett, Ill./Bartlett) logged a 2:26.63 in the 800 meter run, while freshman Rachal Brooks (Chicago, Ill./Mother McAuley) clocked a 1:40.82 in the 600 meter run to round out the SXU performers.
