Geneva, Ohio – With a time of 8:38.13 in the 3K (3,000 meter run) this past weekend, senior Brian Corcoran (Chicago, Ill./Brother Rice) qualified for the 2015 NAIA Indoor Track & Field National Championships to highlight the Saint Xavier University men's track team's performance at the Midwest Indoor Track & Field Open at the Spire Institute in Geneva, Ohio.  The Cougars brought a reduced portion of their team to compete at the meet instead of the entire squad.  Corcoran becomes the first national qualifier for the team this season and the first for first-year SXU head coach Kyle Rago.  The "A" standard national qualifying time for the NAIA in the 3,000 meter run is 8:42.00.
