Comments

Georgetown College men's track and field finished fifth in the team's first scoring meet of the season. They had several runners compete at Transylvania during the opening weekend, but with a larger group at Lindsey Wilson College were able to tally 78 points for a solid finish.

The Tigers scored nearly half their points in the 400-meter dash. Denzel Cain won the race in 52 seconds and six hundredths of a second. Austin Keene was third in 52.54. Erick Mills crossed in sixth in 53.88 and Christian Marshall was eighth in 55.37. In that race alone, GC scored 20 points.

They stacked points in the 200-meter dash, 4x400-meter relay, pole vault and discus events as well.

Keene took fifth in the 200, while Micah Crawford was sixth.
