JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. -- The Lindsey Wilson men's indoor track and field team sent three student-athletes to the Niswonger Invitational at East Tennessee State University on Friday and Saturday, Jan. 17-18.

John-Paul Williamson raced in the 5000 meters on Friday night and finished in third place with a time of 15:05.59, 11 seconds off first-place Whitner Chase of Davidson (N.C.) College who finised the race in 14:54.52. Williamson placed sixth in the 3000 meter race on Saturday finishing in a time of 8:51.09. Mark Cole of University of Tennessee-Chattanooga finished in first-place with a time of 8:38.88.
