A reunion and celebration of Wayland Baptist University's track & field and cross country programs will be held this fall.

Wayland Baptist track & field stars Tre Hinds and Tiona Owens were nominees for the first West Texas Sports Person of the Year, and several other WBU student-athletes and coaches were nominated for other awards.

Wayland Baptist produced a conference-high 11 Sooner Athletic Conference Scholar-Teams four of which held the highest GPA in their respective sport during the 2018-19 academic year.
