KANSAS CITY, MO. (Nov. 15, 2016) – The 2016 NAIA Women's Cross Country National Championships field has been announced, as 36 teams and 82 individuals travel to North Farms Cross Country Course in Elsah, Ill., the national office announced Monday. The 37th annual event takes place on Nov. 19, with the women's race scheduled for 10:30 a.m. CST. 

Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) cross-country team will make its third trip to nationals as a team and their second in a row. The Saints earned an automatic bid after capturing the Red River Athletic Conference Championships on Nov. 11. 

Severl Red River Athletic Conference runners will compete as individuals. They include: Southwest's Gabrielle Arsiaga and Alexandria Adams and Wiley's Maureen Rono and Shamona Hunt.
