CHICAGO – Using a new school record to pace the field at the NAIA Great Lakes Challenge last Saturday, Saint Xavier University junior Ellie Willging (Freeport, Ill./UIC/Freeport) has earned her third Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week award of the 2016 season when it was announced by the league office Wednesday morning.  Willging outdistanced 272 other runners to claim the individual title at the highly-regarded meet with a school-record 5K (5,000 meters) time of 17:48.  Her performance also enabled the Cougar program to log its best-ever team time at 1:34.23.
