Cougars Aiming for Success at Mustang Challenge

SAN MARCOS, Calif. The Cal State San Marcos men's and women's cross country teams hit the trails in Santa Clarita on Saturday for The Master's College Mustang Challenge. The field includes California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) foe Cal State L.A., local rival Point Loma and NCAA Division I squads UCLA and UC Irvine. Central Park Race Information | Men's 8K Course Map | Women's 5K Course Map | The Competition Race Start Times 8:00 a.m. Men's 8000m 8:45 a.m. Women's 5000m The Courses Both courses are approximately 85% dirt paths, 15% grass, 60% rolling terrain, 40% flat. The women's 5K course has one sizable hill portion and the men's 8K has two sizable hill portions.
