Winston Lawson (FR/Santa Ana, CA) placed third in the men's decathlon with a personal best score of 6,801 points this weekend earning his second All-American honors as a Lion. Saturday morning, Zach Hunt (JR/Sparks, NV) raced to a 15th place finish among 56 competitors in the marathon with a time of 2:51:13. This was Hunt's second consecutive year running the marathon at the Outdoor National Championships. The third Lion to compete at the Championships was Zach DeAtley (JR/Victorville, CA) who finished 17th in the 3,000 meter steeplechase final Saturday afternoon with a time of 11:08.94.
