Horlander helped lead Longview to a 20th-place finish at the junior college national meet and posted a personal best 5K time of 20:17 while competing at LCC.
“Bailey has an incredible work ethic and will make an immediate impact on the team,” said Byers.
Horlander was also part of two State championships while competing at Lee’s Summit West High School and was named the MVP of her team in 2015 at Longview CC.
She chose Baker over other NAIA programs including Ottawa and Park University. She plans to major in Graphic Design.
