PORTSMOUTH, Ohio (Cross Country) – The Shawnee State men's and women's cross country teams put together another stout effort – this time, off of the running surface – as 12 individuals were named to the Mid-South Conference's All-Academic Team – including a program-record seven males, as announced on Friday by conference officials. Honors were awarded to each student-athlete of sophomore status who obtained a grade-point-average of at least 3.25 or better.

With the aforementioned seven members being honored for the men, the Bears would tie Campbellsville for the most Academic All-Mid South members on the men's list.
