Comments

Georgetown College cross country opened coach Luke Garnett era in the Queen City Invitational. On the men's side only three NAIA teams were in the race. The Tiger male harriers finished third in that group just 23 points behind Asbury University. Overall the men finished 11th out of 12 teams.

On the women's side, GC finished third of four NAIA schools, 36 points behind Berea.

Tayler Godar paced the female harriers. She finished the 6,000-meter run in 24 minutes, six seconds and second among NAIA racers.

Both teams were down in numbers. The men ran just five, meaning every racer's time would be a scoring time. The women had six on the course, but you can race as many as seven.
