California State University San Marcos is currently inviting applications for the position of Coaching Assistant with the working title of Cross Country Assistant Coach.The Coaching Assistant for Cross Country, who will have the working title of Cross Country Assistant Coach, will be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day operations of a successful Cross Country program that will be transitioning into an NCAA Division II program. This includes, but is not limited to, recruiting, preparation and assistance with practice and competition scheduling, team travel organization, compliance with all NAIA/NCAA rules, and student-athlete welfare. The Cross Country Assistant Coach will assist with coordinate and work with the academic support services staff in fostering academic success for all student-athletes, including graduation rates and retention of student-athletes.
