Typically, the Sioux City Relays would be the about the third meet for the Jimmies, but weather wiped out the first two. With temperatures near 80, it took a toll on their athletes. "It was actually too hot for top performances on Saturday afternoon. … I think sitting around in the sun for two days took its toll on a lot of kids," UJ women's coach Jim Clark said.
