South Bend, Ind. – A new school record and lifetime personal best time of 17:55.2 by sophomore Ellie Willging (Freeport, Ill./UIC/Freeport) was one of many highlights on the day for the Saint Xavier University women's cross country team Friday afternoon at the Bethel College Pilot Invite at Saint Patrick's Park in South Bend, Ind.  In fact, Willging, who finished in second place overall, was just one of four Cougars who turned in lifetime best times en route to a third place team finish (107 points) out of the 17 collegiate teams competing at the event.  SXU finished 23 points ahead of Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) foe and No. 24 ranked Trinity Christian College (Ill.).  No. 5 Taylor University (Ind.) won the meet with 24 points.  The previous record time for a 5K (5,000 meters) cross country race for Saint Xavier was 17:57 set by 2010 NAIA All-American Rachael Dean.
