St. Louis, Mo. – Solid distance runs by sophomore Courtney Correa (Homer Glen, Ill./Lockport Township) and senior Ali Proffitt (Lyons, Ill./College of DuPage/Morton) were two of the big bright spots for the Saint Xavier University women's track & field team in its first outdoor meet of the season at the Washington University Invitational in St. Louis, Mo., this past weekend. Correa posted a personal-best time of 19:47.68 in the 5,000 meter run, while Proffitt ran the 10,000 meter run for the first time in her career and logged an impressive time of 38:46.41.
